The beauty of decking is its ability to be constructed anywhere in the garden. It is viewed as an additional outside room to your home and has proved to increase the value of the property.

Decking needs a simple framework in order to look its best. If this plan is followed on each deck then there should be little reason why decking cannot be installed even if the garden is uneven, sloped or covered in rocks or grass/hedges.
Allow us to explain, after the cementing of the main posts (4 inch by 4 inch ) the framework consists of 6 inch by 2 inch joists which would be bolted to the posts, above the ground. If the deck has been installed this way all the timbers are raised off the ground which allows the deck to be installed effectively anywhere.

On completion of the framework there remains the installation of newel posts, handrails, steps and of course the boards. These items are where our qualified carpenters add their own expertise to provide the finish.

Decking will remain as good as the day it was installed if, like anything else, the care and maintenance is provided yearly with the relevent stains/vanish available today.
We have provided designs, supply and installation of softwood & hardwood decking to many houses for many reasons ( bar-b-que, hot tubs, swimming pool area, ). Over the last two years our services in decking have progressed to the commercial market where we have designed and installed decks for Hotels and Schools.
